January 29 – Oradell, NJ – If the name sounds familiar, it should.  DeBellis has been synonymous with BC and BC Football for well over 30 years.  This year, Coach Tony DeBellis ’85, will see his daughter, Hunter, take the reins of the Crusader Volleyball program.

While for some, athletic blood runs through their veins, like her dad, BERGEN BLOOD runs through Hunter’s.  Hunter brings quite a bit of coaching experience of her own to the program.  As a co-owner and Operations Coordinator of New Jersey Freedom Basketball, their programs have won 12 National Championships.

She currently remains the head basketball coach at St. Mary’s High School in Rutherford after graduating from Penn State University where she interned for the Nittany Lions Football program.   Hunter interned directly for the Director of High School relations and the school’s Wide Receiver Coach.

Hunter also worked with 15 Big Ten Division I teams at PSU, assisting the Assistant AD and Event Management officials in managing all sporting events.
