Dear Families,

This first Sunday of Advent, we had the honor of celebrating mass and brunch with many of our Bergen Catholic Grandparents and families. It was wonderful to welcome our Celebrant, Bishop Michael A. Saporito, Campus Minister, Br. Ben McDonough, Campus Chaplain Fr. Sam Monaco, and Current Parent ’25, Deacon Ed Stoker who all helped guide us through this special mass.

We had many students who participated in mass; audio/visual techs, piano player, lectors, candle/cross bearers, eucharistic ministers, and student ambassadors. Our sincerest thanks to Nicholas DiPasquale ’24, who provided the perfect voice for all of our young men in his Grandparent Reflection.

Special thank you to Grandparent Mass committee member, Patti Polizzi-Walker CP ’25, all of our parent volunteers, Event Coordinator Mary Pitera, Danny Kurpick and his facilities team, Al Spiegel and his technology team, Matt Rosa and his student ambassador team, and Jerry Morano and his cafeteria/catering team.

We hope you enjoy the photos from this beautiful celebration by clicking the button above and we can’t wait to host this celebration again next year!

Just in case you missed the mass, you can still view it here on LocalLive: Grandparent Liturgy

Wishing you a peaceful and festive Advent season and a very Merry Christmas.

Warm Regards,

Claire Quinn
