Michael Janson ’65 grew up in New Milford. He earned an undergraduate degree from Fairfield University and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Johns Hopkins University. His career began at Bell Laboratories. He then worked in fixed income research at Salomon Brothers and in investment banking and private equity at Morgan Stanley. After Morgan Stanley, he worked for a hedge fund, Ore Hill Partners/Man Group. He is now retired. He and his wife live in Morristown and have been blessed with four children and nine grandchildren.
